2001 / 012001 / 01 / 06 The 2001 curriculum of Taiwan Open Culture and Arts Academy was broadcasted on TTV and GTV. It was supplemented with the release of "Students' Newsletter" which held online teaching and Q&A activities, selected by Taiwan Media Watch as an Excellent Social Education TV Program adequate for adolescents.

2000 / 072000 / 07 / 28 Suspension of the Foundation’s cultural activity subsidies and awards. Subsidy applications of various activities would not be accepted, starting from 2001.

2000 / 022000 / 02 / 19 To complement the trial courses conducted by Taiwan Open Culture and Arts Academy and to enhance the learning effects, FTV was entrusted to broadcast “Cultural Forum” TV programs, starting from February 19th till the end of June, a total of 13 episodes.

1997 / 121997 / 12 / 15 Convention of the third preparatory meeting, which became the foundation meeting, in Taiwan Provincial Administration Information Hall. Through the Donation Charter, the following nineteen members were elected as the directors: Mr. Hung Meng-chi, Mr. Su Zhong, Ms. Hsieh Hsiu-min, Mr. Yang Guo-zheng, Mr. Zhan Tian-xing, Mr. Chen Jin-xing, Mr. Huang Yi-jiao, Mr. Li Yi-yuan, Mr. Zhuang Bo-he, Ms. Hu Ou-lan, Mr. Tang Ting-chi, Mr. Lin Bao-yao, Mr. Lin Xi-yue, Mr. Xu Chang-hui, Ms. Liu Feng-xue, Mr. Chang Yu-xing , Mr. Chu Zong-ke, Mr. Shao Zong-hai, and Mr. Wu Qing-you; Director Zhan Tian-xing was elected as the Chairman of the 1st Board of Directors.

1997 / 081997 / 08 / 05 To implement cultural cultivation and assist folk-culture and artistic development, the Ministry of Culture of Taiwan Province Government agreed to fund and establish the “Cultural Foundation of the Province of Taiwan”.
